Copy fails in all drives, tried CD-R and CD-RW and it just will not start the game. All other SecuRom 4.8+ games copy fine and work.
P.S. yes the original Postal2 disc works fine.

Nascar Racing 2003
I just installed my beta copy of 4.9.9.95 beta and tried Nascar Racing 2003 protected with Securom 4.84.50.0166. I never have got a copy to work and this time is no different. Is there a setting I'm missing

Just tried to backup the german version on Tron 2.0 which comes on a DVD and is protected with securom new. After reading the Image Blindwrite tells me that "Media topology isn´t required", but that´s not right for securom new. But i can´t change any settings to activate that function...

the tron 2.0 dvd german version is the first one we know on dvd. as it is pretty different, we don't handle it properly, but it will be on the final version of bw5. At least we are on it.

BWA file was bad looking but the game starts, still no luck with BW5.

IMO if BW4 will make a working backup even with a bad looking BWA then BW5 should also back it up without updating the firmware.

I've been working with a "Afterdawn" member who owns the Plex Premium(TLA# 0002) and he encountered the same exact errors you are backing up SecuROM 4.8.4. After he updated firmware to 1.04, backups play flawlessly in his Plex Premium, LiteOn LTD 166. and MSI CR52-M cd burner. I've sent his log to Blindwrite team member Fabrice Struggle (if you wan't to with 1.03& Blindwrite 5 Beta 4.9.9.95)

BW4 + Plex Premuim 1.03 firmware has not failed with any game.
BW5 + Plex Premium 1.03 firmware has only failed to copy Postal2, everything else it has copied.
I will update to 1.04 and redo Postal2.

Hi guys
I just got my registration key and blindwrite almost 5 i have a liteon dvd and liteon 52x24x52x burner

I have a question,

I did a real quick test on jedi knight academy which here in usa is securom 2.84 if i remember right, i set it to automatic and it did its thing did the topology at 8x then it burned it at 52x speed the copy will not work. i tried to slow down the burning speed by going in to options and setting it to slow but it still wrote the image at 52x

any advice would be nice! (i also downloaded blinwrite tweaker but i did not get a chance to play with it yet)

Oh one last thing i really like those little buffer windows and current burning speed and all those cosmetic graphics during the writing process i hope you have em in your future plans

Saw your log, I have the same LiteOn as you and I've never had a problem with NASCAR Racing 2003. I'm on my 2nd back-up. I have even done a 3ed with the latest BW ( non- almost 5 ) just to see if it worked as well as 4.2.5 .. works without autoplay by the way.

What settings are you using? I used autoplay, is that my problem. Did you create a BWA file? I noticed the only setting in the 5 version is automatic. Is that the same with you? Wait for your response.

I just recieved my key for the new beta - alfa - almost 5 .. what ever it is called. I plan to download it tonight and it give N2k3 a shot and let you know how it worked.

Before this I was a die hard 4.2.5 user (it never failed me) but I've also used the latest puplic version, version 4.5.7 and produced a good working copy also. Both w/o auto play installed.

Well maybe I can get to it later, BW5 won't let me in yet, emailed BW team and will have to wait for reply.
