well if you can`t do anything on writing speed then we`ll have use max writing speed from the cdwriter choice.
how do you force your drives max write speed?

I am quoting myself here now:

Quote:
did I say something about bwa file?

tages needs to read some sectors from beginning to end and from end to beginning and then combine these. Because the have same sector number but different content....

Some already made backups .... but it is currently not possible with BW5.... I only said that this option may later be your solution.

But if you ask one who is more advanced in Tages he could make you already a backup... because as said only reading the disc one time from begiinning to end and then from end to beginning and then to combine the sectors which are different ... which means that you write both of them...

@giovanni42104:

truely, but I only wanted that people know that it has already be done... and that it is known what the protection uses... because this probably means faster support for that protection.

we are supporting the tages backup internally also... you have to know that the products available in public is not what we have internally. however the support of tages is not convenient enought at this time to be introduced in the product as is. maybe later, but first we prefer to focus on some others tasks and protection.

thanks for your patience.

@Lapinou: Maybe it was convenient that you reconsider your priorities, since Ubi is releasing all their games with Tagés. And those are and will be lots of games. I think SF3 is a minority.

Surely you'll have more information about that, and only you know your disposition, means and the troubles you find in your way, and I'm sure you'll do what is better for us. It was only my point of view. Please, don't take offense at that and keep the good working. Thanks

I strongly agree with Dufroise, Tagès IS a priority now, UBIsoft is laughing at us, don't let them laugh too much

And if you support it internally, the portage to the commercial version can't be too hard huh ?

So I also suggest that Tagès must be THE goal, and personnally, I didn't found any game using StarForce 3, but I already saw 2 new kicks'ass games using Tagès within 1 month and more to come.

Please mister VSO, listen tu us

BWA Builder error!

HI!

I tried to use bwa builder included in blindwrite but when I start it after few seconds an error message appears: ERROR: unable to detect angular speed.

Someone can help me? Do you know what does it mean? If there is no answer can you suggest me another bwa builder?

Thank you!!!!!

I have a Samsung dvd-rom sd-616q, a Traxdata ide-cd r/rw 16x10a and the virtual clone drive installed with clone cd v 4.2.0.2.

I have this problem with all cds and with all the drives above.

The version of blindwrite is 4.5.7

Thank for the reply!
