Hi ViRuS2k, I tried DLing some of the earlier Blindwrite versions [401 in particular], but the FTP site terminates the file transfer.

Is there a fix for this, or are the archive files available elsewhere?

Thanks,
Duck

Going backwards

I've got 4.2.8.28 and I want to go back to 4.2.5....... Do I need to uninstall before running the setup again or will that cancel my registration?

and thanks for making this available....

go into the blindwrite directory on your computer
copy the bwabuilder.exe somewhere safe then uninstall

then reinstall 4.2.5 then copy over the bwabuilder.exe to the blindwrite directory.....

now you have the best avalible at the moment for games protections

and the registration details are in reg so there for uninstalling and reinstalling will not hinder you into readding it

@ ViRuS2k

Do you want blindread 3.0.0.23 final? It's still IMO one of the best safedisc dumpers (and scratched cd readers) ever released. Vastly superior to recent versions with Lite-on drives.

Works without any problems for sd 2.8 together with fireburner and is faster than discdump.

Thanks for the archive

Some versions aren´t the full setup. Have you got only the "light" setup for them?

@ViRuS2k & philamber

Yes philamber, could you be kind enough to upload that golden version of Blindread 3.0.0.23 final to the ftp? I'm looking for the best solution of reading a SD 2.8 game. I had no luck with DDump/Fireburner however, the copy works with my DVD reader but not the burner. Using JLMS XJ-HD166S (AKA LTD-166s f/w DS14) and LTR-40125S f/w ZS0P.

ViRuS2k, thanks for your wonderful BlindWrite/Read ftp archive, much appreciated and I hope it stays up for a long time.

Also, If I chose to install BR 3.0.0.23, should I first uninstall my current version of Blindwrite Suite 4.2.9? Will they interfere with each other if I don't uninstall first?

Thank you
