========================================

ok here are you answers to your questions ! if you follow my walkthrough to a te then you will be able to backup eny version securom NEW.........

===========================

ok there is 2 ways you can do it and you want the best way right.

tools you will need are Blindwrite v4.2.5 and Alcohol 120$ latest version....

Start up alcohol select image makeing tab make image at Max Speed becuse you will be deleteing it after its made all you need is the MDS/DPM file

create that file at 1x or 2x if you want the best copy do it at 1x

then after that is made put all the files in a folder name the folder

UT_2003

then delete the image file , then startup blindwrite`s BWA program and click file then convert MDS into BWA then browse to the file and click on the MDS file called UT2003_CD1.mds

it will save automaticly then go into the folder and delete the MDS file

Ok now start Blindwrite`s Readimage Program up
Dump the image of a CDROM
Leave these 2 options UNTICKED.

Authorize the use of alt read method and extract sub codes.

ok now click next create the image with

1: Nimble
2: Adapt Speed
3: Min 1X
4: Max 16X
5: Eject Disk At Completion

Click GO

===================================
ok now in the folder the only files in there should be the following....

UT2003_CD1 Blindwrite Image File ,
UT2003_CD1.BWT File ,
UT2003_CD1.BWA file Converted From MDS From Aclohol 120%

ok now start up blindwrite`s Write Program

Start CD Writeing Wizard
Click next Browse for your UT2003_CD1.BWT file then click next
do a image verification test...

you should see the following information...........

Image Consistency :HD IMG OK
Sector Headers :Headers Are Correct
Read Errors :No Errors
Weak Sectors :No Weak Sectors
File System :Not Needed
Phisical Media :Found use DAO PW NOT DAO PQ ok
Synthisis :Image is OK
=============================

ok click next

1: Writeing mode : DAO PW
2: Speed 2x
3: Tick Use BWA if Avalible
4: Eject When Finished

Leave all other options UNTICKED

click GO>.................

congrats now you have a 1/1 Enjoy...........

please report back i would like to know how you got on oki

you shouldnt need to use HIDECDR media ....

and that bwa you did looks fine...

a 1/1 should work from your dvdrom or cdrom and burner without emulation and without hide ATIP.....

I have a Liteon 32123S XSOF...would this step by step walk through work with my burner or just for the Asus? I am going to back up my NOLF2

The BWA graphs you show are fan flippin' tastic compaired to the NOLF2 & UT2003 bwa's in the sticky thread(no harm meant to the creators!!!). NOLF2 is spiked in section 2 of 4 & UT2003 is spiked in 1 & 2 of 4. Could you PLEASE send me USA versions of them to me or upload them to the forum to be posted?

THANKS
