Virtual CD-Burner?

Is there any way that I can make one of my virtual drives from Alcohol 120% a CD-Burner/DVD-Burner instead of just a normal DVD drive? If there is anyone out there who knows how to do this, I would be greatful if you could help me.

No but, of course, if you merely make an image of a cd/dvd with alcohol that image can be mounted to a virtual drive.

Re: Virtual CD-Burner?

The thing is... I need to be able to make a disc with music from itunes using their burn option. I could normally do this and it would burn the music to a disc, but if I were to do this over and over, it would waste way to many discs. Any ideas on what to do?

Use CD-RW (re-writable) discs. Then you can use the same disc again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and...

Wait wait, are you in the same boat as myself? Where you rip everything to Apple Lossless as a quality whore, and now you wanna actually make a personal DVD-R backup of ISO's of the discs using iTunes, which doesn't offer ISO export?

Heh heh heh, now if only there was a way around that. =3

CD-RWs aren't an optimal method. You'd wear out your burning drive faster and it feels like a helluva waste.

Re: Virtual CD-Burner?

I have finally found an answer!

I have tried all kinds of things to get a song from iTunes or from Wal-Mart to a point where I can convert it to an mp3. Hymn or iOpener worked until iTunes went to a different version, and my assumption is that will be an onoing cycle.

Most of us probably have something like Easy CD Creator. I used 1 (one) CD and used options to turn off "Finalize". I then burned a Wal-Mart song to the CD, then removed and reinserted the unfinalized CD. The song appeared, and I had the option to convert it to WAV from the special WMA that Wal-Mart creates. Once I had done that, I could use an mp3 converter like AudioDeluxe to convert it to an mp3.

I will keep using that one CD over and over again until it's full, but at least I won't be constantly wasting blank CD's.

Why is it that just reeks of spammer to me? First post, and with that much detail about the product, I can smell the spam from here.
