Trying To Make a Backup of Dreamfall Securom 7.00.00.0028 - Club CDFreaks

This game has Securom 7.00.00.0028 protection (cd version, scanned with A-Ray).
I've tried to copy the first disk using both the normal Securom 7 copy method and the Twinpeak method. The other disks, according to A-ray had no copy protection on them and burned them using "General Protected CD. The disks burned with no problems, When I went to install the game the first disk goes through but the second says "Feature Transfer Error - Cyclic Redundancy Check" I tried installing with the orignial game first disk and then followed with the copied Disk 2 with the same result. Any suggestions? Thank God I used CD-RW's as this is a 6 disk game. Thanks in advance.

Did you try scanning the installation directory of the game?

Yes, it showed the Securom protection and version of same

What speed are you obtaining the DPM at and what profile (datatype) are you using to make the image?

I did a fresh burn of all the disks and it worked. Some disks must have had messed up files on them. Anyway the problem is solved and was able to burn all 6 disks with a successful install. Thanks for the replies.

Excluding the case of a disc burnt from a twinpeak patched image, if you can't install from a copy disc it almost always means simply that the burn was bad (i.e. nothing to do with copy protection).

Anyway, glad you got it working on your second try.
