PS2gamebackup startuphang either fast-/bad burn (data present) re-image/burn work ?

Hello,

I have an PS2game that is backed up (don't have source disk anymore) now it hangs at startup screen either due to fast burn/bad burn (data on the disc is present, correct size, no scratch/filthy disc, source disk clean and worked).

Q: If I would make an image out of this again, and then burn it slower would it
play on my ps2 console ?

Like to hear your advice
