Alcohol Discuss, Problems with 52327s and Call of duty at Burning Software forum; I burnt call of duty with my lite on 52327s drive using alcohol. I put it on safe disc mode (not safe disc 2/3) and burnt it. It worked. In my burner I have to hide cd media to make it work though. is there anyway around this??? would

In my burner I have to hide cd media to make it work though. is there anyway around this??? would a more perfect copy make it so I wouldn't have to turn on "hide cd-r media"???

No and no.

A minor part of the copy protection used is an atip check.

All cdr(w)s have an atip, pressed silvers (like your original game cd) do not.

All writers can detect an atip (necessary for them to detect that media is writable), ordinary cd/dvd roms generally can't (unnecessary for a cd/dvd rom to be able to do so).

The result is that you must use an atip hiding utility if you wish to play a copy of any recent safedisc or securom protected game from a writer but you don't need one if playing fom an ordinary cd/dvd rom.

thx! is there any program that is small and made just for the purpose of hiding cd-r media? so I wouldn't have to install alcohol 120% on all my pcs??

dont use burners

Just dont play them on burners. Normal CD-readers can't identify the ATIP.
