hi,

i have recently installed alcohol 120% and since recently installing it my pc hasn't been starting up right. after i installed alcohol 120% i had to reset my pc cause a vurtiual drive had been installed. so i reset my pc and just a black screen came up after the windows loading thing came up. so i waited for a while and still nothing so i just held down the on/off button to reset it. then a message came up sayin something like - "we are sorry for the inconvienience but windows couldn't start properly due to a recent hardware change etc etc". and i was left with a few options - start on safe mode and a few other safe mode options, start with windows rencent good configuration and start windows normally. i selected start windows normally and it worked. and then this problem occured from the next startup until now - everytime i turn my pc on the message nearly always comes up and when i select start windows normally it sometimes doesn't work so i just keep trying and it eventually works. sometimes i select start windows with recent good configuration because most of the time when i start windows normally it doesn't work for ages.

Someone plz help!!

uninstall alcohol completely. if then everything works without troubles,
make sure your windows is up to date.
then update all your hardware-drivers one by one.
re-install alcohol, see if it works now...

btw: if it does not work (or in general if you have a problem): give as much info about your system as possible...

Posting a complete system report from within Alcohol to when you can will be helpful.

i uninstalled alcohol but i was still left with the vurtual drive even after reboot.
so i went to device manager and uninstalled it but still it was still there after reboot. i then i tryed uninstalling it again but this time after i rebooted my pc the virtual drive was still there but it was different. this time it said cd drive instead of dvd drive. so i tryed uninstalling that but then it went back to the virtual dvd drive.

so could u plz help me with that?

I also did a registry scan and got rid of the alcohol things it found. i then got rid of a few other alcohol things left in the system.

You install non legal software on your system and end up with problems then thats just tough, and its a risk you take everytime you download and install software you have not legaly purchased. Even after being told you have non legal software you continue to ask for help personaly i hope no one replies with advice for your problem, there are many members of this forum who have purchased our software and recive free help and support from us i am sure they have no sympathy with you and your problem.

However if you realy want to resolve it a simple method would be FORMAT your HD or purchase the software and contact Alcohol support.

ok well first i didn't know that my software was illeagal. i just downloaded it from a torrent site and it came with a retail activator. so i i just followed the instructions to install acohol. then that problem occured.

i was then told it was illegal n i wold get no support. so i just uninstalled it since i would get no support. i then got another prob so i asked razor for help since i wouldn't get support from alcohol people.

So im sorry if i was using an illeagal version.

can i get support on uninstallin the ileagal version now so i can get the trail version from the alcohol site?
