New protection? - Club CDFreaks

i have 2 games produced from The Adventure Company
they are law & order dead on money and the omega project

the problem is that i dont know what kind of protection the cds have-i checked with the latest version of clonyxxl and it said that there was no protection so i copied the l&o with the regular settings for alcohol but the strange problem is that i cant even setup the game from the backkups whereas in the original cds i have installed it without any problem-when i press setup not even the setup dialog appears!!

i made some other backups with other settings but the results are the same do u have any idea how i can find out what kind of protection this is?

What about when you copy hole cd to disc, and try to run Setup ?

i will try to write now the files from the hdd to a new cd using nero
and see what happens

Well law & order dead on money ISN'T protected, so maybe just a misburn. I don't know. Try another prog (CloneCD, BlindWrite or even Nero should do the trick) and let us know.

Please create an image of the game using the General Protected CD datatype and then mount it. Install the game from the mounted image and then try to run it.

i wrote tha files from the hdd using nero and i installed the game without problems but i cant understand why it didnt work in the first place with alcohol or clonecd using the regular settings for copying none protected cds :I
