Im unsure where to post this as im new here, but anyway...

My problem:

Im trying to make a backup of my Rome - Total War copy using Alcohol 120.
Ive made image files of each cd, SafeDisc 2/3.
And ive burnt the first image file in my CD-burner on a regular CD-R.

After installing the game with the original discs, it works fine playing with the backup of CD1. The thing is, id like to be able to install with my backup cds.

When I try to install from the images by mounting them on a virtual drive, it works fine with CD1. When i unmount CD1 and mount CD2, it works fine until the installation program starts to copy the intro wmv files. At "egyptian_intro_640x480_bars" the computer freezes.

When i mount the CD2 image, i works fine copying "egyptian_intro_640x480_bars" from the imagefile to another place on the harddrive, but when i try to copy two of the other wmv files i get a message "Unable to copy barbarian_intro_640x480_bars. Unable to read from drive."

What to do? Please help me.

Make a fresh image from your original cd of cd2, preferably at a lower speed than that you used last time. Your existing image is obviously corrupt.
