Just bought a dictionary called “Longman Dictionary Of Contemporary English”(LDOCE,2CDs);By now I cannot find a powerful tool to check what protection it has;Using CloneCD,I cannot pass its verification,if I use daemon tools to emulate the image file,I can see a whirling disk icon on my screen.

Finally it will ask me to insert the original disk.

Could Alcohol work?And could alcohol & cloneCD be intalled togeher without any conflict?I would not like to unintall my cloneCD just because of trying Alcohol 120%.

There are no known / reported conflicts between Alcohol and Clone CD. Daemon Tools and Alcohol use the same Virtual Drive engine. You will need to scan the disc with A-Ray or Protection ID to work out the protection used.

Yes,I used both A-Ray and Protection ID,but neither of them can find anything.I searched on internet,seems it used Secrom 7,but not sure.

I just want my original disks have long life,because it costs me HK$400.00,that's not easy for me.

Whirling disc means it's securom 4.8+, in this case, probably securom 7. See the tutorial section for how to make working copies with or without emulation.
