Important Question!

Hi there guys
I have a program protected with cd cops ver 2.09 #3929 and after you install the program you can run it without problems,BUT you have to put the original cd in the CD-ROM every 30 days.
I bought the program, have the original cd and it is not a problem for me to put it once a month in the CD-ROM for the program's "original cd"
CD-ROM check.

But I wanted a backup copy and made one with
Alcohol 120% 1.9.2 (I think the latest version) using RMPS Emulation.
And it seems that my backup cd works, BUT it must ALWAYS be in the
CD-ROM. (Not really a copy of my "30 days free CD-ROM" original cd).

So my question is: Is this how it should be?
or I have done something wrong in the burning process so I couldn't make an exact copy of the "30 days free CD-ROM" original cd?

And one more thing: Can I get better results with clone cd 5.0 with this
cd cops protected cd?

THANKS!

Re: Important Question!

Come on guys!
There must be someone who is experienced with cd cops and can tell me all the right settings for burning a 1:1 backup cd.

Because your using and have to use RMPS emulation the copy is not 1:1, it never will be. These days 1:1 copies are a thing of the past and I doubt Clone could handle it. Have you tried mounting an image in a Virtual Drive, and setting it to mount on boot up? This would eliminate your need for CD-Checks full stop.

I have made many coasters with a rewritable cd trying to make a 1:1 backup and every next time I was using some minor different settings, but after 10 attempts I began to suspect that a 1:1 backup of CD-Cops can be done.
The image from the virtual drive works fine, though.
Thanks for the reply!

Re: Important Question!

I wonder if the virtual drive can handle this kind of protection
