Alcohol Discuss, how can i back up files larger than 4 GB at Burning Software forum; I tried to back up a PS2 DVD game with Alcohol 120%. When i prepare to make a image i need to use the setting NEVER SEPERATE. The file to back up is bigger dan 4 GB the following problem appears: FAT 32/FAT 16 cannot back up files bigger

how can i back up files larger than 4 GB

I tried to back up a PS2 DVD game with Alcohol 120%.
When i prepare to make a image i need to use the setting NEVER SEPERATE.
The file to back up is bigger dan 4 GB the following problem appears:
FAT 32/FAT 16 cannot back up files bigger than 4GB.

Does anybody now how can i fix this ?

If your HDD filesystem does not support files larger than 4GB you have to separate them.

You could always convert your filesystem from FAT32 to NTFS. Open the command prompt in WinXP and type in:

convert (drive letter) /fs:ntfs

NTFS filesystems can handle files larger than 4GB

You could also try using a legal version of our software.
