| Hidden pregap setting in Alcohol Hi all. I heard that Alcohol has a hidden feature that will allow reading the pregap area of a cd. (Perfect for SD 2.8+). So I investigated and this is what I found: Open a file called Axtype.ini (located where you installed Alcohol) using Notepad. There is a list of all the profiles used in Alcohol with each profiles settings. Here's a Screenshot Apparently, DiscJuggler is the only software at the moment that can do this, so maybe Alcohol can do this now too. So here's a couple questions I have: 1. If the value of "0" is changed to a "1", will this enable Alcohol to read/write the pregap area? 2. How important is this pregap? (Fireburner has worked fine for me so far as it writes its own pregap) I just thought I'd share my curiosity with everyone else here! Any ideas or suggestions would be great! Thanks in advance.

| This setting does nothing. Not all drives can read pre-gap, so alcohol uses a different method to handle it.

| No, i don't think so. I have a liteon which is supposed to be able to read pre-gap, and alcohol never reads pre-gap even with this option enabled.

| Perhaps it's for a future developement (if SD blacklists Pregap Emulation).
