Re: Error when burning DVD's using Alc(specs inside) Well I tried burning again, same result. Before I left for work I tried with a DIFFERENT brand and I got a good burn...kinda strange. The bad ones only seem to happen on Memorex brand DVD+R's, while my Verbatim and Sony's work fine...I'm gonna try a Memorex again, see what happens, and I'll post to confirm/deny anything.

Re: Error when burning DVD's using Alc(specs inside) Do you mean the error report? Because I only left out the information that I didn't think was necessary. Otherwise what do I need to do? BTW: I believe this is confirmed. I did a second burn with Verbatim and it worked perfectly. If I try again with the Memorex I believe the burn will fail.

Re: Error when burning DVD's using Alc(specs inside) Not enough information provided to be completely accurate, but I think you are onto something with the media. Memorex media is generally considered inconsistent at best. They do not 'make' media, only rebadge media from their suppliers, and this is where the problem lies. No consistency from the suppliers means you don't know what you're getting when you buy. My suggestion would be to dump the Memorex stuff, or at least try it with another burner if possible. Perhaps you could find another burner that would work with that media. In the future, stick with known good media providers, TY and Verbatim to name a few and you will most likely prevent these errors from occuring.
