Ok,this is starting to worry me...
I decided to format my PC the other day,it definitely needed it,then i proceeded to re-install alcohol 120% v1.9.5.3105 (which i always used,BTW) and then i mounted a game iso,installed fine,patched the game but the game crashes...fine,i think,i'll just play without the patch
I proceed to the uninstallation and the,without even unmounting the iso in the meanwhile,i try to reinstall the game and i get a media corrupted error during it...why's that?
It already happened twice,with 2 different games...i'm kinda wondering WTH is up with my virtual CD drive now,i haven't yet tried using another virtual drive software (got daemon sitting somewhere,i'll try and install that one now) but still...this ain't normal,is it?

Please post a complete system report from within Alcohol so we can have a look at it. Have you also tried to remake the image?

do the original game CDs work correctly or are you just having trouble with the images?

I'm not home currently so i can't check the original CDs (nor the PC itself,therefore i can't test anything now) but i installed daemon tools before and,while it did seem to work for a couple of installs/uninstalls,it decided to lock up as well with the same error on the same corrupted" file...so i'm guessing something's wrong with my SO rather than the isos,since daemon installed fine when alcohol refused to

How awesome,turns out i could barely install anything even from the original DVDs...
The real reason?One of my 1GB ram sticks was damaged,took it off and now everything works fine (what a waste..a GB in the trash...)
