Ok am using the latest dec version of alc120% along with LTW-811S and I can't make a working copy of BF Vietnam. I use Safedisk 2/3 setting. The disk won't play in the system, it just asks me to insert the original disk.

safedisk is different then safedisk 2/3?

They are the same, but SD 2/3 profile enhances weak sectors, while SD profile goes for 1:1 copy (the success only depends on your recording hardware).

I just bought BF:Vietnam today and made a successful back up using A-Ray Scanner + Alcohol 120%

I ran it thru A-Ray and its sd 2.9 so i used the sd 2.9 - 3.2 profiller.

i ripped it using my ASUS DVD E616 at Maximum speed with the profiler saying "A-Ray"

i burnt it using the A-Ray profile at 4x speed with my Pioneer DVD DVR-106E using the latest firmware (1.08)

i hope that helps ya out a bit

i used alcohol and use securom new to burn it on my liteon 52x drive if that any help.

And did that work? I dont know how it could since BF Vietnam has SafeDisc 2.9 copy protection on it.

it worked cos it read unneccessary sub channels (securom) and cos his litey can encode regular bit patterns correctly (safedisc) it was as though he had just used the Safedisc profile.

Might have been slow to copy though.
