burning cue and bin files

Hi there - we have a number of cue and bin files that play fine in alchohol 120%'s virtual drive but when we burn them to cd they just won't work(nothing happens) even though it seems the burn has completed fine! We've tried burning with nero 6 and alcohol 120% - should we try clone cd???? Our d:drive is a samsung 308d and is working fine. Any suggestions would be helpful as pc world are running out of blank cd's!!!

Are these game CD images? Protected or cracked?

they are pc games that have been cracked. I don't think they are protected as all the (many) guides say just burn the image with nero and they should work fine. I've tried clone cd and copying the image from my virtual drive to the d:drive but that had the same result. It seems crazy! The games run fine when I mount the image on alcohols virual drive. I've now tried burning with nero, clone cd and alcohol 120%. It seems like I must be doing something obvious wrong, but my d:drive just won't run the burnt cd image.

Are these your images of your games or downloaded?

You must own the originals.
