Burn PSOne data with A120% but..

Can someone help me with this issue plz, I burn Playstation 'data' using alcohol120%...which this 'data' is MDS/MDF type. I follow the instruction how to burn it to cd and everything go smooth. The burn is okay and then I try to play the cd in my Playstation..no problem! play also but... the problem I have when playing this cd is..it dont have colour...in black & white!
Is there something/step I missing? or
maybe the problem lying in the mds/mdf data?
I do a lot of research in other web just trying to find what wrong but cannot find one! perhap someone who ever had problem like this before can help me?

Thank you!

Re: Burn PSOne data with A120% but..

1 you need mod chip
2 you may need to use a scart lead with your play station or a pale to nstc converter
3 aclohol is not the best software to copy ps 1 gamges
4 if i was you i would use cdrwin to make new image then get pp o fmatic download the crrect patch for nstc or pal patch image then burn back wit cdrwin

Re: Burn PSOne data with A120% but..

I doubt this is Alcohol related, as your image plays fine other than no colour, this would be down to your PS2 mod chip, your TV or possibly as mentiond your scart cable, Have you had this problem with other backups ?? you could try reducing the read and write speed but i doubt this will resolve the colour problem.

Re: Burn PSOne data with A120% but..

this is a common problem on ps1 and ps 2 games playing in black n white
you need a full rgb wired scart i dont think you can by those blaze converters no more on ps2 there is a solution which in voles a forther mod to the ps2 for color corection other than the the only option is to patch the game to take care of it

Yes, this happens when you try and play PAL games in a PSone machine that is NTFS...... Or visa versa..... As an earlier user stated, you can convert it.
