I am creating a virtual drive for AOM and it always worked but when i tryed updating AOM and tryed to run it, it says i need the cd but this never happened before. this also happened with the titans too. does anyone know a solution to this problem because i dont want to reinstall AOM again

i am using version 1.9.5. i have the image files of the cd and just create a virtual disc so it thinks it is running off the cd but is actually running off of the files. i dont know how to find the protection though. whenever i update it, the update goes fine until i try to play AOM and says i need to put in the correct CD and retry.

philamber has told you the protection so you'll need to remake the image using the correct datatype, SafeDisc 2/3 to be safe.

now since i know that, how do i recreate the image because my image is a bin file and i downloaded isobuster to look at the files

I dont have the original cd though i got the image off of the internet. so is there anyway to get the game to work with the patch or should i just go back to the original version?
