I recently got my Liteon and am trying to copy my first Safedisk 2.5xx game. I chose cd copy wizard and the Safedisk 2 settings from the drop down menu. The sourse was my Liteon 166s DVD and the target being the 52x burner.

I came back a fewminutes later and saw all these read errors and the burn process hadn't even started... So I stopped it and tried clone cd with the 2.5 profile and both cds copied quickly ... am I doing something wrong?

No. There are supposed to be read errors for any safedisc protected game. However, alcohol reads safedisc protected cds quite slowly with many Lite-on dvds.

Use your writer for reading safedisc cds with alcohol if reading with your dvd is slow. Also bear in mind that the read errors will all occur in the first ~10,500 sectors, so if it seems slow initially, it will speed back up to normal as soon as it's finished reading those sectors.
