| Alcohol 120% Sim City 4 I normally use Clone CD to make backups but I guess it doesn't support SD 2.8  Anyway, I tried Alcohol 120 for the first time ever to discover that creating a working backup of Sim City 4 (Which uses SD 2.8) is a piece of cake. It ran perfect on my other pc's  Cool app! I have a lite-on so that might be why it was so easy.Too bad that Ollie says that CloneCD will never be able to clone discs protected with SD 2.8. I really liked that app. I guess it still works for a lot of other protection schemes. BTW, did anybody read the interview with the lead Alcohol developer? He said that he named alcohol after a Spanish word that is supposed to mean "Spirit". I'm a native spanish speaker and "alcohol" translates to "alcohol" (yes, just like it!) I wonder where did he get "Spirit" from? hehe. |
