| Alcohol 120% Crashes with Virtual Drive features After I installed the latest version, I just got it yesterday so I'm sure its the latest, I copied some stuff and it worked fine. Then I decided to disable the virtual drive feature cause I didn't like having an extra drive lying in My Computer. But whenever I press that button to disable it, my computer would suddenly do a autorestart, then when it comes back on it would give me a crash analysis and say (summarized): cdralw2k.sys (Roxio) caused a crashed. Now I only have CloneCD and Nero on my computer and they work fine, I've never installed EasyCD or DirectCD. Now where this come from I have a few ideas, it could be from Windows Media Player 8's burning plugin (which I never used), WinXP's IMAP burning plugin (which I don't use and whose service I've disabled), or I may have once installed Adaptec UDF reader then uninstalled it a short while later. Either way I have the Roxio drivers running, as I've checked with System Information and they are running, so I'm afraid if I do a delete, it'll cause one of those drive disfuntion problems and I'll have to mess with the registry to fix it. I'd like to know if anyone has any other possible solutions. Like installing a newer version of Adaptec UDF reader to maybe update those drivers, if that doesnt solve the crashes, then maybe uninstall, and maybe it'll work this time. I don't like the fact that I got crashable drivers on my pc, and my pc has been crashing a bit lately, I'd like to solve this to rule this out as a probable cause. Thanks in advance, DFourthHorseman |

| I know ForceASPI uses an old set of Adaptec ASPI drivers, but even so, at that time I dont think Adaptec integreted its software with Roxio and that driver clearly says Roxio as the maker. Also does Alcohol uses those ASPI drivers? Most well developed programs have their own, like nero, clonecd, and blindwrite. http://radified.com/ASPI/forceaspi.htm But its worth a try so I'll give it a go when I get home. Ruibing |

| You don't need ASPI for Alcohol. In fact, with Alcohol, you can burn in Safe Mode Only Adaptec products, bao and DiscDump require ASPI
