I have ALCOHOL 120% 1.9.2.1705,
I have dvd burner MSI DR8-A (version MS-8408A),
dvdrom ASUS DVD-E616P1 (version E13051),
I use Verbatim cdr-media for backing up my playstation 1 games.

Does my dvdburner support EFM ? How can you found out ?

I encountered this error:
-I tried to backup playstation 1 game Tekken 3 (a backup already), ALCOHOL
120% 1.9.2.1705 said (low memory free memory), while I did this before the
burn, what to do to fix this error ?
-Afterwards it said a good burn, but when trying to play the game it hangs
at startup, what to do to fix this error ?

Hi solveprogramissue,

1. look here for your EFM problem
2. I think you got less of RAM so the error will pop up 'low memory free memory'.
3. Have you got a modchip in your PS1? Otherwise the game won't run.

SEEMS WHEN i COPY THE FILES FROM MY ASUS DVD-ROM AS A TEST TO MY HARDDRIVE IF IT WORKS, IT BLOCKS WHEN READING THE LAST FILE ÏNVALID MS-DOS FUNCTION ON THE TEKKEN 3 GAME.
WHEN DOING THE SAME WITH MY MSI DVD-RW DR8-A IT DOES IT WITHOUT PROBLEMS
