| your recommended software for Lite-On LDW-811S I am looking for combinations or just 1 good program that can generally make copies of movies in dvd-r format using a Lite-On LDW-811S. I will usually copy the whole dvd if it can fit onto one dvd-r, and once in a while, copy a whole dvd even if it means that i must use 2 or more dvds without reducing quality...i also want to be able to copy ccs (or css, dont remember) protected movies. oh and i will maybe frequently take out extras and just keep only the movie with subtitles and other language tracks. post any good experiences you've had with some programs so i can try em out. thx |

| I've tried out DVD X Copy platinum. I find that I burn too many coasters with, I do not recommend this program. I am going to try the DVDShrink method to see how that works. Usually most "1 click" programs are pretty garbage, I'm not sure why I even bothered with it.

| I have never had a problem with DVDXCopy myself. But I still prefer using the AnyDVD/ CloneDVD method. Still nice and simple and rips 'on the fly' but gives you more control then DVDXCopy.

| yah, i like the ease of dvd x copy platinum, but it doesn't give you the flexibility of shrink (or am I mistaken?). If the main movie has multiple audio tracks, it doesn't let you to select which ones - which will make you have to compress your video even more to include it. |
