Copy Movie Discuss, XVID to DVDR problem at International Chat: Software related forum; I have a few movies encoded in XVID. They run @ 23fps. I tried to convert them to PAL DVD with TMPGENC but the output file jerks when playing on my PC. The original XVID had no probs at all. How do I encode so that the play back is smooth?

A Miracle

U will do well not to do this without the jerks <> just make a NTSC DVD it will play fine in most PAL DVD standalones

As the Poacher said, leave it as is and dont convert to PAL. You will still beable to play it back on your DVD Player and it wont be jerky. Simple as that.
