What copy protection am I dealing with?

Hey Folks,

I have been trying to backup my copy of Hero’s Season 1 with no luck. I have no problem copying the disk using either dvd-decyrptor or anydvd. When I try to burn the image the burn process will fail at about 10%. I have tried to burn this multiple times using different burners on different machines, using different burning programs. The crazy thing is that if I burn the image as a data disk and not as video disk, the burn works fine. So, any ideas on what kind of copy protection I am facing here and I how I can get around it?

Operating Systems: XP, Vista
DVD Drives – Asus DRW-2014L1T, Old Sony Drive
Burning Software: Nero, CDBurnerXp

This no copy protection, but the way you are burning the disc. Provided, you have created an ISO image, then the "burn image file" of your CD/DVD burning software is the correct one. No other method will work.
ImgBurn is a free piece of software that is a specialist in burning images onto a disc. Highly recommended.

Read and implement the Golden Rules of Burning.
