Video_ts.ifo to AVI conversion

I foolishly purchased Video Now players for my kids and they seriously make it difficult to create your own dvds. I have their Media Wizard that burns AVI files onto their proprietary media -up to a max of 21 minutes worth.

The pre-done cartoon shows on their PVD's are in CDA format. Which I completely don't get and would love a way to conert directly from video_ts.ifo to cda.

>>
1] My cartoons are on DVD's in video_ts.ifo files which need to be converted to AVI first

2] I need to be able to crop comercials from the AVI to get it small enough for their dvds

Does anyone know of any freeware programs? I also have Nero Vision, which I saw in another post, but I don't see that it can save into an AVI format

Thanks!!

AnIFO file hold no, absolutely no video!
IFO = Information File Object.

Re: Video_ts.ifo to AVI conversion

Thanks for the response.

I've already been converting the Video_ts.ifo files to AVI using AVS Video Converter software. The AVI's play video and sound using QuickTime. Please check it out at avs4you.com

> The problem is I'm using the trial software which doesn't crop the video. SO to make this work, I would have to buy 2 separate software programs: AVS VIdeo COnverter AND AVS Video Remaker. I really want to find a cheaper and easier way to so this.

Thanks!

Re: Video_ts.ifo to AVI conversion

Cropping video?

Use VirtualDub or the godlike AviSynth.
