Trouble copying 'The Interpreter' Hi, I just tried to make a backup copy of The Interpreter with my LG 16x DVD+-RW burner (GSA-4167B) and it has coppied fine but when i go to play it on my TVs dvd player it has the audio commentary on and even though I keep going and turning it off in the menu it will not come off! It must have burnt wrong because it will not play without audio commentary. I burnt the DVD with the latest versions of CloneDVD and AnyDVD. From memory the DVD was only CSS protected. Any ideas on what I did wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

| Re: Trouble copying 'The Interpreter' Do you know if your standalone DVD player is able to play the copied DVDs, specifically your brand and type (+/-). What kind of media are you using? It seems like a burn error. Try scanning the disk with discspeed. After that I would go ahead and burn another at a lower speed. That's just me though, I prefer a trial and error approach to getting my discs to play.

Re: Trouble copying 'The Interpreter' I am using TDK media DVD+R. I reckon it must have been a burn error because I put the DVD in my DVD burner to play it and it did the same thing. I tried messing around with the burnt disc (the original is ruined) and burning just the movie without any special features but the audio commentary seems stuck on there. I havn't updated the drives firmware yet, would updating this help pervent this sort of problem happening in the future? cheers

Re: Trouble copying 'The Interpreter' this is not a protection, blank media, or firmware error in the least. it's user error. you can't get it to work off of the backup because you probably never included the correct audio track on the backup in the first place. your only solution is to re-rip the original and burn it to a new disc...but this time pay close attention to what audio tracks you're including. you "just tried to make a backup" 5 days ago but the original is ruined? it got ruined in those 5 days? if that's the case then you're SOL dude...

Re: Trouble copying 'The Interpreter' See if using the audio button on your remote will stop the commentary. I have had the same problem. There was a couple movies where I eliminated an audio and this wouldn't work but if thats not the case use your remotes audio button.
