Stealth (Region 1) Just released in the US today, and DVDD can't rip this newly bought movie (read errors @vts_01_1.vob, many retries). Tried with 1693S and DW1640. Watched the movie fine. Is my movie broke or its protected that DVDD can't handle? Edit: DVDShrink said Invalid DVD Navigation Structure. Can't even analyse. Anyone?

I also made a copy with CloneDVD 2.8.5.1 + AnyDVD 5.5.3.1, but both ISOs are different. Can someone explain why and which one I should use as I'm new to CloneDVD. ISO produced with: CloneDVD/AnyDVD: 7,070,764 KB DVD Shrink/AnyDVD: 7,070,500 KB Meanwhile in DVD Decrypter and Nero CD SPeed Disc Info they both say 8,539,996,160 bytes (8,339,840 KB) ... so where's the rest? | |

Re: Stealth (Region 1) my guess is that shrink is leaving out maybe audio trax(dts)/special features not necessary etc....I tried decrypter also and no dice...I used VobBlanker for the best results...but they weren't perfect in terms of compatibility...maybe the new beta of anydvd will change things.. ![]()

| Re: Stealth (Region 1) You can also backup your widescreen copy of Stealth with DVDD using this psl file http://forum.digital-digest.com/atta...5&d=1131844683 worked for me, I take no credit for this I just stumbled across it by accident. Budzos

Re: Stealth (Region 1) Thanks budzos. I forgot about these PSLs for DVDD. The one you referred does not work for me, but this one works: http://forum.digital-digest.com/show...8&postcount=41 I did tried again making a copy with DVDD (plus the PSL) and DVDShrink. Downloaded the zip file in the above attachment (below Mr. Fixer post) and in DVD Decrypter: File - Protected Sectors List - Import - select the PSL, and rip in File Mode (must in File Mode). Then in DVDShrink: File Open - select folder from the saved files by DVDD; and Shrink will start. One thing I noticed that with all these method (including with AnyDVD) the Audio is embedded with the Video. Checking with DVDShrink for example, the DTS audio is only 14MB while the original is like 600+MB. No problem playing back the copy though. I'm new to AnyDVD, maybe there's a way to fix this but at this point I'm happy with the results.

Re: Stealth (Region 1) Try using DVDFab Decrypter to rip it to your hard drive, then you can use any of the dvd copy software to burn it to disc. I used 1 click dvd and it made a copy without a hitch after I had ripped it my hard drive with dvdfab decryter. Here is a link to download the software. I hope this helps. http://www.afterdawn.com/software/vi..._decrypter.cfm

Re: Stealth (Region 1) Been trying to backup STEALTH region 1for sometime now using dvd idle pro, voblanker, dvd decrypter, anydvd (newest version), dvd squeeze, dvd x copy, dvd shrink and clone dvd. Had basically same problems like everyone else trying to use anydvd with burning progg's either the system would freeze or i'd get it to create an image but the image would be small or i'd get what appeared to be the right image size without all the extras burn the dvd and what i'd get was bits and pieces of the begining of the movie and towrds the end would be fine. only decryptor i found that worked for me was dvd region&css free using that with clone dvd. well good luck to the rest of ya's hope it will be some help. ps...i'm not taking anything away from anydvd it is a great decrypter maybe the next update will have the new fix soon.

Re: Stealth (Region 1) Been using DVD43 and 1ClickDVDcopy for about a year with no issues. When I tried to do STEALTH I had all kind of issues. It would only play the last half of the movie on my machine. The copy did the same thing. Found the issues to be with DVD43. I downloaded ANYDVD and it apperaed to work but 1lick said the DVD was copy protected. Short story. I removed ANYDVD, DVD43 and 1 click. Re-installed the latest Version (heard about it here) of ANYDVD then re-installed 1ClickCopy. Everything works great now.

Re: Stealth (Region 1) You Will Need Any DVD 5.5.5.1. Download It And Let It Run In The Background. Then Open DVD Shrink And Shrink It Down And Then Burn It With Nero

Re: Stealth (Region 1) For Madagascar, rip using DVD Decrypter in ISO mode. Also, the AnyDVD CloneDVD2 combo will work. If anyone is still having problems with Stealth, realize that there is no new copy protection on this movie as I have ripped and burned it with DVD Decrypter v3.1.0.0 released in May 28, 2002: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/260734 This guide will work for any new $ony BLowME movie. A new copy protection would mean that it would be impossible to rip this movie with an old ripper. This new garbage is structure based, so it is not really protection, but more intentional errors in the movie's navigation and Disc. It would also be hard to rip a movie that was authored by a blind Gorilla and replicated by a bunch of Angry Orangutangs, but that really isn't copy protection, it is just stupidity, just like $ony & MacroAnus.

Re: Stealth (Region 1) Thanks Budzos and Zaina! I wasn't planning on registering to any forums. But after trying unsuccessfully to backup my copy of Stealth over two dozen times (using various methods found on various forums)... your solution with importing the psl file (provided by Zaina) was my savior! So I had to register here in order to give you Kudos! Much appreciation!
