I posted in clone regarding a simple backup from a non copy guarded DVD. Sonic-current version-6 ate blanks displaying error messages. I had an older version from my last computer so I installed it. I turned off AnyDVD, copied the image, then made a nice copy of my copy. Why would an old version of Sonic work, but the newer one won't? I'm more curious at this time. I wish I didn't pay $80 for ver. 6. It just won't work. Anyone have any thoughts?

By the way, I did not post saying AnyDVD & Clone support sucks. I have had NO problem with either one. I got several e mail notifications regarding that post. Like I said, it's not mine.

Because Sonic sucks?

Version 4 was still Prassi/Stomp. They sold the software to Sonic, who skipped right past version 5 to bring out version 6, which was a festering pile of dung. Version 7 is slightly better, but still not all that.

Prassi has a NEW program, the name of which eludes me, but which is the next logical step from RecordNow 4.5, and has been favorably reviewed.
