Shrink from HD with DVDshrink 3.0beta5 - Club CDFreaks

Hi, Guys,
When I was trying to shrink a movie from my HD with DVDShrink, I encountered a problem I had never had before. In the process of encoding, the buffered went to more than 1,200 mb. Eventually, my computer ran out of memory. Is this a software-related problem or a virus situation(I did virus check, but no virus found)? Can anyone help? Thanks.

check the drive for errors and defrag first.
I've read many times elsewhere that using a source on your HD can cause complications because you can't always guarantee that what you have on HD is error free/complete.

So go with the REAL source if you can. Otherwise you might just be picking up faults left behind by the previous 'rip'.

Thanks for the reply. I think the problem is the source files. I delete them and re-rip the movie. Then it goes well. Thanks again.
