I am in the NTSC region, and I want to rip the isolated music score from a PAL DVD.

I want to rip the score, convert it to mp3, and be able to burn a CD or load the file to an mp3 player.

The DVD is Last of the Mohicans (1992 Region 2 PAL) and contains the isolated music score.

Is there a way to do this?

If you intend to do this sort of thing very often, a dedicated tool like DVD Audio Ripper works just great. But most any decent video editor will do it too. There's a few free applications available, consult the video tutorials in the forums here.

You can use DVD Decrypter in IFO mode to do this. This screenshot should be pretty self-explanatory. Just highlight the audio stream that you want to demux and select "demux". Just make sure that you have the correct PGC highlighted on the "Input" tab.



Afterwards, you'll have to convert the resulting file to your desired format (CD Audio or MP3).
