Playback of DVD-R

Hi all,

This is my problem...

I have been burning DVD's from different formats..ISO, IMG, VOB..

Sometimes, my standalone will play them and sometimes it wont. My XBOX on the otherhand will play all of them. There is not any specific file type that the standalone will not play. My playstation will not read some either...

I have been burning using nero 6.6.0.6

Any help with this one?

TIA

Rollin

Re: Playback of DVD-R

Also,

I just tried to burn it with dvd decryptor...still XBOX only. I have also tried at different speeds. All are on the same type of discs and all using the same burner.

TIA

Re: Playback of DVD-R

Are you sure that all the disc that u are using is the same brand and manufacture and are they are + or -? Did u do a verify at the end of each burn?
What is the model of ur stand alone dvd player?

Re: Playback of DVD-R

They are all the same discs

Memorex DVD-R.

They have all been verified. All will play in my computer and XBOX. Only some will play in my Playstation and my Magnavox MSD125 DVD player.

Also, the ones that dont play are the same for both the Playstation and the Magnavox. It confuses me so much....

Anymore info needed?
