| Lpcm or Dolby Digital? I am converting an Xvid to DVD with Ulead DVD MF. Can someone explain whether I should use LPCM or Dolby Digital? I would like to play this DVD in surround sound, and also in stereo for when I play it on a player that doesnt have a 5.1 system. |

| Re: Lpcm or Dolby Digital? use dolby digital (aka: AC3). PCM takes up a lot of space, and any AC3 5.1 audio track can be played in stereo (you just won't hear the extra channels).
