Copy Movie Discuss, Larger DVD-R?? at International Chat: Software related forum; Are there any DVD-Rs being made that are larger than 4.7 GB yet? This 120 minute stuff isn't cutting it, and I hate using DVD Shrink because it deteriorates the quality.

dual-layer dvd recordables are due out sometime next mid-year with the same capacity as pressed dual-layer dvds.

i'm not so sure about the quality of dvd2one being better than dvdshrink's, esp. with deep analysis.

I have never used DVD2One, but I am quite happy with DVDshrink. With deep scan, you can hardly tell any difference from the original one. I used to split a DVD9 into two discs. Now I am putting them back in one. I am just done with "Antwone Fisher". And I play the copy and the original for my wife, she can't tell the difference. Really if you are not extremely picky or sensitive about DVD quality, DVDshrink is actually a very good one.
