A few DVD & SVCD authoring problems..

I have been having a few problems, im relatively new to this but, the first issue i have is i have been creating some DVD's & SVCD's and some work, and some dont, They all play perfectly in the PC but *some* When put in my dvd player scroll (Like the image keeps getting flipped vertically like when the old tvs lost there picture) (But it does play, This happens with DVD & SVCD). I Dont think that its the dvd player because some do work. Is it possible some are getting encoded as PAL? When i use DVD2SVCD the file always comes out with _PAL(Using CCE) and not NTSC (im in USA).

im not checking the NTSC to PAL thing. Maybe the video's are pal? but most are the 29.x FPS.

Thanks!

Re: A few DVD & SVCD authoring problems..

Yep, that sounds like playing a PAL dvd on NTSC only DVD Player.. From what I read, not many NTSC DVD Players can play PAL for some strange reason. I live in a PAL world and here, I'm unaware of any player that cannot play both forms.

Solution, buy an el-cheepo Made in China DVD Player, they will play both NTSC and PAL.
