| DVDPro Ex Anyone tried DVDPro Ex - it rips and encodes DVDs to most formats (DVD/SVCD/DVD/XVID/DIVX etc) and will also allow you to 'cut' the DVD. Check it out here: http://www.3mbtech.com/enter.html |

| I had trouble with it on my home system (worked fine at work). The author recently sent me a mail saying: 'new update of DVDPro Ex will contain Complete DVD Backup and Macrovision code removal, etc' Maybe it will work better too?! ![]() |

| There is just so much dvd to ... conversion software out there now. Personally I really cant see how this software is going to go from one that cant be installed to the all in one fantastic best options converter overnight. Time may tell, but for now, I'll stick with what I have.

I personally don't belive that as the people in here have lots of experience with diffrent programs and belive they know when a software is stabile or not.

| Speaking as someone who had to reformat his (tip top condition)system after installing this software and not exactly being able to do anything with the soft whilst it was installed btw..... apart from freeze up Win XP that is, and also reading other peoples experiences I can safely say the following..... To say DVD Pro is stable is like saying that all politicians since the begining of time have never, ever told one lie! ![]() |

I have tried a couple of programs and you can't compere them with DVD Shrink .. well DVD2ONE is good but I think DVD Shrink is better.. and what do you know how much money I have in my pocket ? If you and your friends don't use free tools just because they are free. That I call " stupid ".. If a program is good what does it matter if it's a free one ?

![]() There was a post about DVDPro ex and people said it was a unstaible program. in this thread it has been installed on about 5 pc's and on 4 of them it has been unstaible :S Rendez2k had probs at home but it works on his work, all others had problems with it. Well then I am a happy poor guy with a working tool .. and your a rich guy with a unstaible tool .. I prefere the poor guy with working tool ![]() Well why are you using this forum then ? it's free and people help you for free here. Acording to you a forum that you have to pay for is much better than the free ones

I really shouldn't even reply to this thread after your 2nd or 3rd post seeing how you have no idea that there's an huge community on the net that creates freeware so the average people can perform the same function (if not better) w/o having to dig deep for corporate software, ie, OpenOffice, VirtualDub, Mozilla, DVD Shrink, DVD Decrypter, etc. | |
