Re: DVD Shrink 3.2 - ERROR overlapped I/O..??

got the same error, so I used VobBlanker to rip to an empty folder on my desktop, then opened dvdshrink and used it to analyze, encode and burn, worked real well.
Then later I tried backing up "Young Frankenstein" older movie, but none the less frustrating...I ripped using Vob, but the files couldnt be accessed using dvdshrink, what I ended up doing was using the "re-author" in dvdshrink, pulled out just "title one" which is the main movie and backing up from there...for some reason, I guess it was an "extra" like the director's comments that was causing the glitch.
The movie works just fine, but it is without any menu or extras, which I dont mind.
hope this helps

Re: DVD Shrink 3.2 - ERROR overlapped I/O..??

I am new to this..can't figure out how to start my own post, so I am tagging on this one..sorry. I am getting the overlapped i/o error on Are We There Yet? I've had this problem with Hitch..used DVD decrypter, then DVD shrink, then Nero to burn. However, with Are We There Yet, I can't seem to take the files from DVD decrypter to DVD shrink..it tells me that it can't find the path to that file or something like that? It's very frustrating. Any help that anyone can offer me would be great. Feel free to email me personally...don't know if I can find my way back to this post...lol...

have you tried going into the edit tab then preferences then IO and enabling overlapped IO; this option does not work on windows ME. Do you have the latest version of DVD decrypter, when I got it I quit having that problem

Re: DVD Shrink 3.2 - ERROR overlapped I/O..??

when shrink fails during transcoding, try to use dvddecrypter (in file mode) and copy dvd on you hdd, then open in shrink. if it´s protected use the latest version of anydvd or dvdfab decrypter (free)

Re: DVD Shrink 3.2 - ERROR overlapped I/O..??

It means that Shrink cannot process the files. Try using DVDFabHDdecrypter.
