Checking 5.1 Dolby Digital on a backup

I usually put a backup in my DVD player and when I see the dolby digital light come on, I know dolby digital is working on my backup.(I only check this on certain discs) Right now tho, I don't have my home audio stuff setup, so I can't check it that way. Does anyone know of a utility or program that will tell me if Dolby Digital is working properly on the backup?

Any Software DVD player should tell you if it has Dolby Digital audio
