I know you guys are probably tired f hearing my complaints, but i appreciate the help guys. I'll share my gained knowledge with others who need help.

So here is the deal, i converted movie from avi to dvd using winaviconverter, then, i burnt it with easyclone, i tried it with cd shrink too (backup and burn), i go to my dvd player in my living room, sound is perfect, i can see the moviem but it skips a bit, just enough to piss me off, my parents can barely tell tho, then i put it back in my computer, and open it with WIn dvd, works without skipping.

Is it my dvd players that are not reading it write, or is there something wrong with my burning???

In most of cases this issue is due to a low quality disc or to a bad burning.

What discs have you used? What burner? What firmware? At what speed did you burn?

What media r u using?
Does it skip sort of constantly or it freezes on certain spots?

My first thing would be media. Many of us keep on harping on Verbatim, but do so because it seems to give very good results. I've had CompUSA disks skip like crazy on my Playstation 2 but when I burned the vid to Verbatims, all was well.

Yes cheap media was always my problem switched to Tayio Yuden and problem fixed.

Almost certainly a media problem. The poorly burnt disc will run on your computer without skipping because the reading and error correction capabilities of your computer's roms inevitably are superior to those of a stand-alone player.

Software can be patched and tweaked to be more forgiving, after all. Not to mention, fixes can be much more easily distributed, I would imagine.
