Bourne Supremicy

In case this comes up in the near future, you may encounter problems backing-up The Bourne Supremicy. If you do this is what I found to be the fix for it,

1. Load DVDShrink and let it analize the Disc
2. In the "Unreferanced Materials" highlight "Title Menus"
3. Under DVD Structure highlight BOURNE_SUPREMACY and uncheck audio streams you do not want, I selected French
4. Under Unreference Material highlight Title Menus
5. Under Compression Settings select No Compression
6. Under DVD Structure hight BOURNE_SUPREMACY again
7. Notice under Compression Settings tab the Video displays Mixed Compression
8. Click on Backup! and the rest you all know

-Neo

P.S I also encountered this type of behavior with "The Punisher"

I apologize if this was posted on the wrong thread, It was posted here because I felt that it was a form of copy protection.

If this is the wrong thread however, please tell me which thread this should of been posted in so I know for the future.

Anyway I'm glad it worked for other people.

Re: Bourne Supremicy

I dont think it is the wrong place, its about the DVD's copy protection, so it belongs in the "Copy Protection Discussion Forum".
Dont know why merther02 said it was the wrong place.

Re: Bourne Supremicy

what are the simptons?
I backed up "The Punisher" a few weeks back then a mate watched it and when he gave it back he said it jumped a little... but we put it down to the $60AUS DVD player he was using.

I also would like to know what problems you had. I backed mine up with DVD Decrypter and CloneDVD2 and had no problems.

The symptoms I had using DVDShrink was an error message stating there was an error encoding media OR not enough disk space to complete this operation BTW the error and "not enough disk space" were all in the same dialog box and yes the word OR was in the dialog box.

I do not have the disc on hand at the moment so I cannot stick it back in to repro the prob.
