Copy Movie Discuss, Best software to make DL disks fit 4.7gb? at International Chat: Software related forum; Does anyone have a good method to burn Dual Layer disks to single 4.7gb disks? I have tried using DVDSHRINK but get a error message of 'invalid dvd navigation' I use anydvd to cut the protection off so any advice to get the perfect backup. I know it wont

Best software to make DL disks fit 4.7gb?

Does anyone have a good method to burn Dual Layer disks to single 4.7gb disks?

I have tried using DVDSHRINK but get a error message of

I use anydvd to cut the protection off so any advice to get the perfect backup. I know it wont be that perfect as i'm compression the file.

I like DVD Shrink a lot - MrBass has some good tutorials that help:

I usually re-author, as he suggests.

That tutorial didn't help you? It's incredibly comprehensive, and I follow it all the time to fit a video on a single layer disk. I don't understand how it could not help.

Isn't the Re-Authoring process EXACTLY what you would want?

IMHO the absolute best software combination for DVD-9 to DVD-5 backup is DVD-Rebuilder Pro + Cinema Craft Encoder

Exactly what this man above just said. DVD rebuilder+CCE basic will give you the best picture quality out of any compressed dvd movie. Forget Shrink!
