Why does everyone say that if you need to burn CDs that you should use a CDRW rather than a DVD burner? Is it...

1. speed or
2. CD write quality

that concerns everyone?

I can live with slower burning speeds, but the CD write quality needs to be good. Is this the case with the 812s?

If you want one drive to burn dvds and cdrs then the liteons are the choice as the cdrw part is as good as any other liteon stand alone cdrw.
