| Noise reduction in playback - LG4160B or Pioneer 108D better? My main concern is the noise reduction in playback of avi (divx) / rmvb files, those file usually between 600mb to 1.5gb. The noise in burning is not a big deal for me. I know that Pioneer108D has "Ultra Dynamic Resonance Absorber", but that could be more quiet than LG? Also, can I turn lower the reading speed on 4160B or 108D? If I burn files at 2x rather than 4x can help the noise reduction during playback? thanks for help because my desktop is only 30cm from my ear |

| Re: Noise reduction in playback - LG4160B or Pioneer 108D better? DVR-108 bezel design's just as standard as ND-1x00/2x00/3x00 OEM and DW16xx OEM. I have both 4120@4160 and DVR-108 but I don't know which is quieter. LG's cheaper and faster for sure though so that's what I think is important. Burn quality sometimes better on Pioneer and sometimes better on LG. DVD-RAM not that important compared to the above-mentioned factors. 89 CND sounds cheap to me. 4160B price will further drop because mass production of 4163B started some weeks ago.
