Re: matshuisita UJ-850s update ?

check HP support website.
If they don't have a newer firmware for your drive, then there isn't one.

@ enry1,

Please don’t Double Post enquiring about Matshita DVD-RAM UJ-850S Firmware. Double posting is against Forum Rules.

Matshita/Matsushita/Panasonic drive are poor performers and also are poorly supported with Firmware updates.

From reviewing your other Forum postings it appears that your problem(s) is not a Firmware problem but is related to the poor performance of Matshita/Matsushita/Panasonic drives.

Regards,
bjkg

Re: matshuisita UJ-850s update ?

I have an external LG drive that's been great for quite some time. Excellent burner and very robust.

I'd recommend looking at an LG E60N/L, which is a USB 2.0 drive.
