External DVD Burner Recommendation for Mac

Ok - I've read as much as possible on reviews etc from various sites. Likewise, I've combed this site and the forums ad nauseum.

Now it comes down to a request for help. I want to purchase an external DVD Burner for my eMac (1GHz processor). Likely will go Firewire but its not critical.

Prior to this site, I was think Lacie or Iomega since are they known for their Mac support. However, cheaper and better options may be available.

Any Mac users or just anyone with strong opinions care to share their recommendations?

Thanx in advance.

Re: External DVD Burner Recommendation for Mac

Probably you will choose a Pioneer or NEC burner, but the enclosure/chipset is the important part here to make things work flawlessly.
