I'm looking for a drive that will rip in secure mode the audio(not silence) from a the pregap on track one and somthing thats decent thats good at rippin scratched disc's.

An Ideal drive would of been the LG GSA-4166B or LG GSA-4167B but they are hard to find new and I hear the newer ones are alot slower.

For a drive that you should still be able to find, I quite like my Plextor 760.

I use Plextor 760A and Premium 2 CD-RW is very good for me but price...

Well, my Pioneer DVR-115 does rip the pregap (HTOA) and also my GSA-H62N can do this. Lite-On and Samsung will not rip it.

Hmm that's interesting my SH-W162D can't rip the pre-gap (it rips silence) the LH-20A1H can't rip it either. Maybe the Lite-On 20A3 can rip it too.
