Re: ReBuilder Pro with Encoder Problem

Hi

Locate your Eclpro folder and double click on Autoit v3 compiled script. If I remember correctly press yes for all except the last one.

Now open up rebuilder pro click on settings then set up now under path to eclpro click on the folder and find your Autoit v3 complied script and apply.

How did you set it up before?

If you need to PM please feel free

Sorry I forgot to mention that the Eclpro will ask for the location of your procoder 2 just find the folder and apply. (Canopus procoder application)

Re: ReBuilder Pro with Encoder Problem

When I double clicked on that it asks me if I want to load an .Ecl file. I clicked on a config & settings notepad though an I think It tells me the path in this notepad.

So I went into rebuilder and set the path to what I read in the notepad. This time during "phase 2" Procoder pops up and then tell me .Ecl Error: there is an error in the .Ecl command line.

When I close this out another box pops up .Ecl cannot be imported because is it either damaged or not compatible........err something like that.

I x this out and one more error box comes up: error in -batch

Just going off of memory quoting these error boxes.

Is there a way that I might totally reset the configuration path? I was reading a notepad in EclPRO that says if you want to do this you have to completely delete the ini. but what is an ini. and what does it look like.

I just can't understand why everything worked perfectly the first time and now I can't get it to work.

Re: ReBuilder Pro with Encoder Problem

Goto your EClpro folder and delete EclPro configuration settings (ini file) then double click on EclPro Autoit v3 etc.. to set it up like you did before.

I put the EclPro in with my Encoder folder inside dvd-rebuilder

Your settings should look like this

Re: ReBuilder Pro with Encoder Problem

Okay, pretty sure I have the path correct. After Procoder starts up for "Phase 2":

Error in command line: Ecl

Procoder can not import this file. Either the file format is not supported or the file is damaged.

Error in command line: -batch

Also looking in ReBuilder's status log after phase two it says:

-creating M2V for VTS_01 segment 0
--v01000000001001 no .M2V, retrying

This and it will finally abort after trying 3 times. Could it be the movie I'm using? Hope you might be able to help me troubleshoot this with the specifics I've given.

Re: ReBuilder Pro with Encoder Problem

Have you deleted the ini file yet? Also look at my last post is that what yours looks like?

EDIT: It has nothing to do with your movie, but how are you breaking the movie encryption?

Re: ReBuilder Pro with Encoder Problem

My EclPro ini file now reads: c:\Program Files\Canopus\Procoder 2\Procoder 2.exe

I had the path pointed to the above. This is unlike your path. I have set it to what you have listed now.

Breaking encryption with AnyDvd.

Okay, it worked with the path set like yours!! Thanks I'm on the right track!
Another problem though. I'm worried I set up the new ini file WRONG with the questions I answered. I say this because even though it seems to be working encoding was far too quickly to be a legit encode.

Re: ReBuilder Pro with Encoder Problem

You should say yes to all of them except the last one (run in low batch mode)

You should always choose Mastering quality for the ultimate picture quality, depending on the spec of your pc and how long the movie is it should take between 2half - 6 hours.

I will post a picture of my EclPro inifile so you can compare them. bear with me for about 5min

Okay, I think the batch thingy I adjusted incorrectly last time. Trying once again. If it goes slowly like I know it should I will let you know soon.

It is very easy to check if you have mastering quality enabled.

Re: ReBuilder Pro with Encoder Problem

Phase Two Encoding took 2 minutes! This still doesn't seem correct. I am encoding Never Cry Wolf which is a rather old movie maybe running just over 100 minutes. TROY took me like over 3 1/2 hours to encode granted it is a longer and newer movie. Could this make a difference?

Re: ReBuilder Pro with Encoder Problem

Something is not right!

Is it in mastering quality mode?

Where did you buy procoder 2 from?

What are your pc specs?

and a 100min movie should still take 2-3 hours going by your Troy time.

Look at my last post to see if you have Procoder 2 in mastering quality.

Do not copy a movie from your dvd drive put it onto your HDD first.

Are you doing movie only or full back up?

As you say it worked for you before what have you done that might of altered rebuilder from working properly.

Re: ReBuilder Pro with Encoder Problem

Movie only. System is somewhat new with intel Core-Duo.
Maybe I'll have to switch to HC-18 encoder.

Re: ReBuilder Pro with Encoder Problem

Give HC18 a go as you have a dual core system it should not take to long about 3 hours. I am certain that you will be happy with the quality set it to best.

Re: ReBuilder Pro with Encoder Problem

Great! More problems. When HC begins encoding it says failure to MPEG2Source or something along those lines. Procoder actually had said the same thing (I failed to mention) when I hit preview. So there is some problem finding MPEG2Source with both of these encoders. Where I'm from it is way past my bedtime so I'm going to bed right now.

I'll troubleshoot it tomorrow or just shoot at it LOL

Uninstall, Reinstall DVD Rebuilder then. The install package includes the needed working files.

You can also check the DVD ReBuilder: Installation, Setup, and Usage guide at Doom9

Re: ReBuilder Pro with Encoder Problem

Seems strange that I must re-install to get it to work. I made one successful back-up using DVD-RB pro ver. 1.09.3, this being the first time installing and using the program.

If I re-install will this fix my MPEG2Source problem? It has the vey same DGDecode dll file in the install, no?

Re: ReBuilder Pro with Encoder Problem

Hi

Do as peebz says uninstall dvd-rebuilder pro and delete your avi synth 2.5 folder.

Did you configure dvd decrypter properly to work with anydvd?

Configure decrypter like mine.

Re: ReBuilder Pro with Encoder Problem

This definately solved the problems I was having. I uninstalled then reinstalled. And I did delete the Avisynth folder before reinstalling.

Procoder is encoding like a charm as I write this.

Why do you have Elby checked off in Decryptor? I checked it like you did but Slysoft maked AnyDVD not Elby.

You have been most helpful guiding a noob like myself through this stuff.

Re: ReBuilder Pro with Encoder Problem

Theese settings is reccomended by Olli of slysoft and clonedvd2.

One more bit of advice when encoding it is wise to leave your pc alone till the whole process is done, otherwise you can run into problems.

Good luck and happy burning
